Acrópolis look!!

Feliz martes!!! Primero que nada, mil disculpas porque la semana pasada no publiqué pero entre el viaje a Atenas y que el lunes pasado llegamos tardísimo me fue imposible hacer el post. Y si no estuvieron atentos a mis redes sociales la semana pasad, hoy les dejo un look en uno de los lugares más espectaculares que he estado, la Acrópolis de Atenas!

Happy Tuesday!! Sorry that last week I did not post but with the trip and that on Monday we arrived super late, it was impossible for me to repare this post. And if you haven’t been following me in my social networks last week, today I leave you an outfit post in one of the most amazing places I have ever been, the Athens Acropolis!

La acrópolis era, literalmente, la ciudad alta y estaba presente en la mayoría de las ciudades griegas, con una doble función: defensiva y como sede de los principales lugares de culto.

Acropolis of Athens is an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens and contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historic significance.

Hace mucho tiempo queríamos ir a Atenas, pero entre una cosa y otra no habíamos ido, así que cuando vi que el Hilton Diagonal sorteaba 3 noches de hotel ahí en el Hilton Atenas, no dudé en participar, y cuál fue mi sorpresa? Qué me gané el sorteo!!!!! Así que con súper hotel allá planeamos el viaje para el fin de semana largo de la semana pasada y pasamos 4 días espectaculares en esta ciudad increíble. El look de hoy fue el que llevé el día que fuimos a visitar el Acrópolis.

Since a while ago we wanted to visit Athens but it always happened something that at the end we changed the destination so when I saw that The Hilton Diagonal was doing a giveaway of 3 night in The Hilton Athens I did not hesitate to participate, and guess what? I won the nights!!!!! So with this super gift we could not wait much to visit Athens and we decided to go this past long weekend. We had such a great time and visited many places but today’s look is the one I wore to visit the Acropolis.

Como hacía mucho calor, cual pleno verano, opté por un vestido fresquito en rayas blancas y rojas, pendientes extra large y bolso rojo, pero como íbamos a caminar mucho decidí combinarlo con mis bambas Gucci y así darle ese toque más deportivo al look!

Since it was pretty hot, like if it was already summer, I decided to wear a light white and red stripes dress, some extra large earrings and a red bag. Also since I knew that we were going to walk a lot I paired this look with my Gucci sneakers in order to add to the outfit a more sporty touch!

Tengo que confesar que no esperábamos tanto calor en esta fecha y si vienen con niños, o sin, les recomiendo que vayan o bien a primera hora de la manaña, que así de paso no encontrarán tanta gente, o a última hora de la tarde ya que cierran a las 20 horas de Abril a Octubre.

I have to confess that we did not expect so much heat so if you come with kids, or not, I highly recommend you to come at first time in the morning ( so you will also avoid the crowd) or at last hour since it closes at 20 hours from April to October.

También aprovecho para decirles a las mamis que leen el blog, que si van con bebés que todavía no caminan (o caminan pero son pequeños), al llegar y antes de entrar a la Acrópolis, hay que dejar los carritos en un “parking” y además, si no has llevado un porta bebes y tú bebé pesa más de 10 kilos, al dejar el carrito te prestarán uno! A nosotros nos fue fenomenal porque dejamos el nuestro en el hotel y el que nos prestaron le fue bastante bien a Teo.

Also, for the moms that read the blog, if you come with babies that don’t walk yet (or walk but are relatively babies), you have to leave the stroller in a “parking” before you enter the Acropolis and if you haven’t bring a baby carrier and your baby weights more than 22 pounds, they let you one for free! For us was the salvation and Teo was super comfy in it.

Ahhh, y un último tip! La entrada a la Acrópolis cuesta 20€ pero hay una entrada que integra varios sitios (Acrópolis, Ágora antigua, Ágora romana, Teatro de Dionisio, Kerameikos, Templo de Zeus Olímpico y Biblioteca de Adriano) que cuesta 30€ y tienes hasta 5 días para visitar todos esos otros lugares.

Ohhh, one last tip! The ticket to the Acropolis is 20€ but there is an integrated ticket to visit several places (Acropolis, Ancient Agora, Olympian Zeus Temple, Dionysus Theater, Kerameikos, and Hadrian’s Library) that costs 30€ and you can visit them during the following 5 days if you want.
