Secret concert with Mazda and Sofar!

Feliz viernes!!! Desde que empecé el blog, ya hace unos cuantos años, he podido vivir un montón de experiencias y nunca me deja de sorprender y emocionar cada vez que me llega una nueva invitación a algún evento o algún regalo de una marca. Y porque les digo esto hoy? Pues muy simple, hace un par de semanas recibí un mail en el cual me invitaban a vivir una experiencia secreta, es más, tenía que confirmar si podía asistir y en base a eso me darían más detalles. Obviamente dije que sí, esperando con ansias que me llegara el siguiente mail y poder saber un poco más. Y ese mail llegó aunque todo seguía siendo muy misterioso, lo que sabía era que me irían a recoger en un coche al sitio dónde dijera para llevarme a un concierto secreto y posteriormente a una cena en un lugar sin desvelar! Cuanta emoción!!!

Y el día llegó, uno de esos jueves en los que parece que se acaba el mundo de tantos eventos pero yo tenía claro que a este no faltaría. A las 20 horas tenía en la puerta un Mazda X5 con chofer llevándonos al Mazda Space a vivir una experiencia inolvidable. En esta ocasión, Mazda se había unido a Sofar, una startup que surgió de dos amigos que les gustaba asistir a conciertos y que se dieron cuenta que muchas veces la gente estaba de pie, conversando y no podían escucharlos correctamente, así que decidieron empezar a montar conciertos secretos en lugares especiales e íntimos en los cuales la gente se sentará a escuchar y vivir a tope el concierto, y así se ha ido expandiendo a varias partes del mundo hasta llegar a Barcelona. Y ahí estábamos nosotros, disfrutando de grupos como Museless, Barbott o incluso el siempre simpático y fantástico Ramon Mirabet.

Happy Friday!! Since I started this adventure of the blog, a few years now, I have been able to live several experiences sand so far I haven’t lost a piece of excitement and emotion every time I receive an invitation or a present. And why I’m telling you this today? Pretty easy, a few weeks ago I received a mail in which I was invited to live a secret experience, moreover, in order to receive more information I had to confirm my attendance. Of course I say Yes and a few days after I received another mail in which they informed me that a car will pick me up wherever I decide to take me to a secret concert and then a secret dinner! How excited right?

The day arrived and it was the typical Thursday full of events but I had clear that I won’t miss this event in particular. At 20 hours a Mazda X5 was waiting for me at the for and taking me us to Mazda Space to leave an unforgettable experience. In this occasion, Mazda had joined Sofar, a startup that emerged from the idea of two colleagues who loved to attend concerts but did not like that everybody was speaking and drinking without paying much attention to the concert itself so they decided to start doing concerts in secret places, more intimates where the people can be seated and focused in the concert. This idea started to expand around the world and arrived to Barcelona too. So there we were, enjoying a concert of three different groups like Museless, Barbott or the already super famous Ramon Mirabet.

Al acabar el concierto y llenos de ese buen rollito que nos dejó el mismo, salimos del Mazda Space y empezamos a caminar por calles estrechitas del gótico sin decirnos el destino, sólo que ahí no se podrían hacer fotos, osea, yo sin hacer fotos, casi me da algo, pero valió la pena!!! Jeje!!! Nuestro último destino secreto era el Witty del hotel The Wittmore, un restaurante espectacular, con un decorado de lo más british y retro, dónde comimos de maravilla, y sí hice una foto, del postre por la cual me llevé bronca! Jeje!!

When the concert ended they took us for small streets of the gothic quarter on our way to our final secret destination, where believe it or not, pictures were not allowed! The restaurant was the Witty at the Wittmore hotel, a special place with a British and classic touch where they delighted us with delicious dishes. And I even get to do picture of my dessert despite that it cost me a scowl!
