NYC vibes

Feliz martes!! Hoy les traigo un post un poco diferente ya que como muchas sabrán por mis redes sociales, la semana pasada hice una escapada flash a Nueva York y no tuve tiempo de hacerme fotos ya que fue un viaje familiar y quise aprovechar al máximo el tiempo con ellos, así que hoy les dejo algunas fotitos más bien turísticas de estos días que se me pasaron volando pero que disfruté al máximo!

Happy Tuesday!! Today’s post is kind of different since as some of you might know from my Social Medias, last week I did a flash trip to NYC with my family and since I wanted to enjoy the most with them I did not had time to make pictures for the post. But still, I leave you with some images of my trip in a more touristic way! 

Día 1 / Day 1

La primera noche fuimos a ver Aladino en Broadway y aunque no hice fotos porque luego de un largo viaje no tenía la mejor cara, quiero decirles que si van Nueva York y sigue este musical no lo dejen de ver porque verdaderamente es maravilloso y el genio es lo más!!

The first night we went to see Aladdin in Broadway and even that I have no pictures since we arrived that day and our faces were a little bit tired looking I have to tell you that if you go to New York and it is still running you should go and see it because it is really worth it and the Genie of the lamp is a blast!!

Día 2 / Day 2

El primer día salió el sol e hizo un calor delicioso así que aprovechamos para bajar por Broadway pasando por el famoso Edificio Flatiron, Washington Square (que es de dónde nace la 5ta Avenida), Chinatown, Little Italy, donde por cierto comimos un helado deli en su famosa heladería Ferrara, para luego seguir por Foley Square y de ahí directos al puente de Brooklyn. Terminamos el día en One World Trade Center (donde antiguamente estaban las Torres gemelas) pero se nubló tanto que no alcanzamos a hacer ninguna foto de la ciudad desde arriba. 😦

The first day we had a marvelous sunny day so we went down to Broadway passing by the famous Flatiron building, then Washington Square, Chinatown, Little Italy, where we took a break and ate a delicious ice cream in the famous Ferrara Bakery. We continue our walking tour by Foley Square and then we went directly to Brooklyn Bridge. We end this day at One World Trade Center (were they used to be the WTC) but it got all foggy so we did not have time to make any pictures from upstairs. 😦

Día 3 / Day 3

El tercer día amaneció nublado y  un poco lluvioso pero igualmente salimos a pasear y primero fuimos al Rockefeller Center para luego ir a la 5ta Avenida y entrar a la Catedral de Saint Patrick y de ahí una fotito en la famosa escultura LOVE de Robert Indiana. Continuamos el tour y una parada obligatoria siempre es el MOMA dónde había una exposición de Degas maravillosa, soy muy fan de sus bailarinas. Terminamos el día paseando por Central Park no antes sin habernos pegado una deli hamburguesa en Five Guys!!

The third day was kind of cloudy and a little bit rainy but despite of that we decided to go to Rockefeller center, 5th Avenue and have a quick view inside Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, then we took a picture in the famous LOVE sculpture of Robert Indiana. A super must stop in that area is the MOMA museum where they had an amazing Degas exhibition among their currents ones, I have to say that I’m super fan of Degas’s dancers.We end the day strolling around Central park and before that we of course had some delish burgers at Five Guys!!

Día 4 / Day 4

Este día tengo que confesar que nos dedicamos a hacer shopping (pronto irán viendo todo por aquí) con lo cual sólo tengo una foto que me hice por las típicas casitas del West Village, otra en Broadway dónde no pude resistirme a hacerme una pic de mis zapatos con la imagen en el suelo de fuera del teatro en donde se ha presentado Los Miserables y una en Times Square por la noche que obviamente no podía faltar!

I have to confess that this day we did some shopping (son you will see everything here) so I hardly made pictures. I only mad one while we pass by the cute houses at the West Village, another one in Broadway outside  the theater of Les Miserables and of course I could not leave without my night picture at Times Square!

Día 5 / Day 5

Al parecer Nueva York no quería que nos fuéramos muy  tristes y amaneció con una súper tormenta con lo cual no pudimos hacer mucho más que acabar de hacer alguna que otra compra por el centro y despedirnos con una deli burguer y batido en Shake Shack!

It seemed that the city did not wanted us to go too sad and perhaps that is why our last day was stormy and super rainy so we could not do much except some final shopping and eat our last burger and shake at Shake Shack!

Y así fue mi viaje flash a NYC, la verdad que es una ciudad que me encanta y a la que siempre me gusta volver y esta vez al haber sido un viaje familiar todavía lo disfruté más!! Obviamente es una ciudad llena de mil cosas por hacer, pero nosotros nos lo tomamos como unos días de relax en donde lo más importante fue compartir y reírnos montón! 😉

And this was my flash trip to New York. I have to say that I really love this city and I’m always happy to return to it and this time with my family was really great!! Obviously the city has many things to do and see but we took it as a relax holiday where the most important thing was to share with the family and laugh a lot! 😉
