#BCNMEETUP at Melia Sky

Feliz viernes!! Hoy les traigo un post cargadito!! El 8 y 9 de Abril tuve la oportunidad de asistir al #BCNMeetUp, un encuentro de 40 bloggers e influencers de España que tuvo lugar en el Hotel Melia Sky de Barcelona. Sin duda fueron dos días intensos en donde pudimos compartir muchas experiencias, risas, interactuar con marcas, hacer yoga y hasta participar en un shooting con prendas de varias marcas y con fotógrafos de Street style.

Happy Friday!! Today’s post is loaded with things!! On April 8th and 9th I had the opportunity to attend #BCNMeetUp, one of the biggest get together of Spanish bloggers and influencers so far. The venue was the Melia Sky hotel and there we enjoyed two fantastic days where we got to share experiences, laughs, interact with different brands, a master class of yoga and even a shooting with several fashion brands made by street style photographers.

El día 8 comenzamos muy temprano con una mesa redonda en donde Pelayo de Katelovesme, Rebeca de A Trendy Life, Silvia de Bartabac y Aida de Dulceida compartieron experiencias de su recorrido como bloggers y futuro de los blogs, además también intervinieron Mireia Olivan, Social Media & Digital PR de Coty Prestige y la Dra. Gemma Vallet, Directora del Master in Social Media Branding & Strategy de la Salle quienes hablaron sobre esa interacción que hay entre las marcas y el mundo blogger.

On the 8th we started early with a roundtable where Pelayo from Katelovesme, Rebeca from A Trendy Life, Silvia from Bartabac and Aida from Dulceida shared their experiences as blogger and commented about the future of blogs, also Mireia Olivan, Social Media & Digital PR of Coty Prestige and Dr. Gemma Vallet, Director of the Master in Social Media Branding & Strategy in la Salle discussed about the interaction between brands and bloggers.

Luego de la súper conferencia tocaba alimentarse y qué mejor que hacerlo en la terraza Le Pool del Hotel Melia para disfrutar del fantástico día que hizo. Ahí aprovechamos a relajarnos un rato, ponernos al día, hacer fotos (que tanto nos gusta) y disfrutar del delicioso brunch. Además de refrescarnos con VITACOCO, la bebida oficial del evento.

After the roundtable we had a delicious brunch at Le Pool terrace of the Melia Sky. That was the perfect moment to enjoy the amazing sunny day, have some chats, make pictures and relax. We also enjoyed VITACOCO, a coconut water that was the official drink of the event.

Una vez recargadas las pilas comenzaba un networking entre marcas y bloggers. Fue un momento muy provechoso ya que muchas veces no tienes la oportunidad de interactuar con las marcas y conocerlas un poco mejor.

Once batteries charged we started the Networking between blogger and brands. It was a really profitable moment because usually we don’t have the chance to interact with brands and this was the perfect moment to do it.

Y así empezaba el recorrido, con una marca de tres jóvenes emprendedores llamada Pompeii, zapatos unisex, cómodos y actuales para los esos looks deportivos que últimamente están causando furor.

And we started with a brand of three young entrepreneurs. Pompeii is a casual/sportive unisex shoe brand that are perfect for those days when you want to be comfy but trendy.

Posteriormente tocó momento beauty de la mano de Sensilis, marca que no conocía y que me sorprendió gratamente ya que cuentan con varios productos solares que tienen muy buen pinta, además que tenían un puesto monísimo que gritaba verano.

We continued with a beauty moment thanks to Sensilis, brand that I did not know and that really surprised me in a good way with their sunscreen creams and for the summery stand they had.

Continuamos el recorrido beauty con Skin Method, marca de cremas faciales y productos capilares que ya conocía y de hecho alguna vez les he hablado de alguno de sus productos aquí. Luego pasamos a un entretenido taller de chuches de One.Gen/0,1. Esta marca de belleza se basa en tu ADN para formular la crema ideal para tu tipo de piel, alucinante no?

More beauty moments with Skin Method brand that I have used and that I have commented here. Right away we had a super fun workshop with candies thanks to One.Gen/0,1. This brand formulates the perfect creams for your skin with your DNA information. Amazing right?

Acabamos el recorrido beauty con un test de piel en Boots que me vino genial para saber las carencias actuales de mi piel y así poder tratarla adecuadamente. Esta marca me gusta mucho por sus sérums corporales y faciales, y me encantó descubrir su aceite facial de noche que me ha dejado fascinada por todas las propiedades que te aporta mientras duermes dejándote la piel súper hidratada y rejuvenecida.

We finished the beauty route with a skin test in Boots. This test was really interesting because I was able to see how was my skin and what treatments I need in order to improve it. I already knew this brand because I love their body and face serums and now I have discovered their new night oil which is perfect for dry skins like mine.

A nivel de marcas de moda tengo que decirles que los abrigos de Ángel Benito me dejaron más que enamorada y no me pude resistir a tener un momento “Barbie girl” con este precioso abrigo rosa. Qué les parece?

In the fashion department I had the chance to discover Ángel Benito fur coats. I really felt in love with this brand and I could not resist to have a “Barbie girl” moment with this coat. Do you like it?

Otra de las marcas que participaba era Rimmel y como en la noche había una fiesta de cierre de día aproveché para que me hicieran un retoque del maquillaje y así estar como nueva para la súper party!

Another brand that was there was Rimmel and since at night we had a cocktail party to end the day I did not hesitate to pass by their stand and let them do magic on me with some make up!

Así que luego de una cenita deli nos fuimos de fiesta con Aida como DJ estrella!! Y por cierto, no soy fan de los Gin Tonics, pero me prepararon uno con Vitacoco de Lima que estaba espectacular!!

After a delicious dinner now we are ready to party with Aida rocking as Dj!! By the way, I’m not a Gin Tonic lover but they prepared me one with Vitacoco lime water and it was amazing!!

Pues esto es en resumen del primer día del #BCNMeetUp, menos mal que Dietox también era una de las marcas invitadas ya que su kit detox me ha salvado la vida luego de tanta farra y comidas!!! De hecho tengo unas ganas locas de probar su tratamiento de licuados de un día!! Pero estén atent@s porque este domingo les enseñaré mi look del shooting y les contaré más detalles de esta increíble experiencia. De momento disfruten de un vídeo resumen!

This is a briefing of my first day at the #BCNMeetUp!! Thanks God we also had Dietox there because after so much party and craziness my body needed a detox moment!! In fact I’m looking forward to try their one day detox treatment!!But stay tuned because this Sunday I will show you my look for the shooting and will tell you some more details of this amazing experience!
