Look of the Week: My Escorpion sweater

Feliz domingo!!! El post de hoy es muy especial y es que hay momentos en la vida en que abrir un mail te puede llenar de felicidad y hacerte dar cuenta que todo el esfuerzo que haces no es en vano, y eso fue lo que me pasó el día que Escorpion me escribió para invitarme a su desfile y llevar una prenda de su colección OI 15/16 en su desfile de la 080. La verdad que a medida que iba leyendo el mail no me lo podía creer, creo que ha sido uno de los momentos más bonitos que he experimentado desde que empecé este blog. Llamé «ipsofactamente» a mi marido a contarle la noticia e hice una foto del mail y se la envié por whatsapp a mi family y a mis amigas que me apoyaron y me animaron a empezar esta aventura. Y es que a mi Escorpion me encanta, y por eso me hizo una especial ilusión!!! Ya hace algún tiempo les conté aquí mi experiencia al visitar su showroom y tener la oportunidad de que Sybille, su Directora Creativa, nos cuente todo sobre la marca y su pasión por el punto que sin duda me abrió un nuevo mundo y desde entonces valoro mucho más cada prenda de este tejido. Y esta colección no pudo ser más bonita, y verla desde el front row fue una experiencia total.

Happy Sunday!!! Today’s post is pretty special. There are moments in life when opening a mail can make you super happy and realized that all the effort that you do is not in vain. This is what happen the day Escorpion wrote me to invite me to their fashion show at 080 and wear a piece from their AW 15/16 collection. As I was reading the mail I just could not believe it. I think it has been one of the most beautiful moments I have had since I started blogging. I called my husband right away to tell him the news, and made a picture of the mail and send it to my family and best friend that has been supporting me since the beginning through whatsapp!! I was so excited because I really love Escorpion!! A few while ago I told you here my experience when I visited their showroom and had the opportunity to meet Sybille, the Creative Director, who told us everything about the brand and her passion for the knit. This approach opened me a new world and a new way too see knitted garments. And I have to say that this new collection could no be much beautiful and it was a total pleasure to see in the front row.

Como ya les comenté en el post del viernes, Interludios es una colección que se inspira en la vida de una artista con una vida ocupada en la gran ciudad, y esa vida ajetreada la lleva a necesitar un descanso para encontrase a sí misma. Este descanso es su «interludio» que se divide en 3 Actos. Prendas perfumadas de sensualidad con matices cálidos y toques rosados; prendas a cuadros, rayas y ochos; y, maxi-jerseys y trajes perchados que reflejan una atmósfera llena de calidez y sutilidad. Y qué más les puedo decir a parte de que me quedé enamorada de varias de sus prendas y por no contarles la mega emoción que me dio al ver mi jersey en la pasarela!!! Sin duda hasta para eso el equipo de Escorpion tuvo el detalle de pensar en una pieza que me sentará a la perfección y resaltará mi color de pelo.

As I already told you on Friday, Interludes is a collection inspired in the life of a busy artist in the city and this crazy life takes her to find a moment a away of everything to find herself. This rest becomes her «interlude» that is divided in 3 acts. Pieces scented with sensuality in warm colors and pink hints; tartan and striped garments, and maxi-sweaters and suits that reflect a subtle and cozy atmosphere. What else can I tell you about this amazing collection in which I felt in love with several pieces and what about my total emotion when I saw the sweater I was wearing on the runaway!! Even for this Escorpion team took the time, in their crazy agenda before the show to give me a piece of their collection that matched perfectly with my hair color and skin.

Y como saben hoy toca look, así que no podía ser otro que el outfit que llevé para el desfile con el jersey de Escorpion. Para resaltar su bonito colorido y textura decidí combinarlo con una falda plisada de cuero en café. Ya saben que soy súper fan de los estilos ladies y de las faldas minis así que en cuanto lo vi tenía claro que lo combinaría así. Para darle un toque colorido al look aposté por complementos en naranja ya que este color era uno de los que más resaltaban en el jersey. El toque final, mi abrigo oversize en los hombros con lo cual le acabé dando un toque muy «street style» de Fashion weeks, no les parece?

And as you know, on Sunday is time for my looks so it could not be other than the one I wore for Escorpion fashion show. To stand out the beautiful colors and texture of the sweater I paired it with a brown pleated faux leather skirt. You know I’m super fan of lady like styles and midi skirts so at the minute I saw the sweater I knew how I will pair it. To give to the look a hint of color I wore orange accessories matching with some textures of the sweater. The final touch was an oversize coat over the shoulders giving the look a sort of Fashion week «street style», don’t you think so?

Al finalizar el desfile no podía dejar de felicitar a la artista de todo!! Mil Gracias Sybille por ser siempre tan cariñosa y apasionada con tu trabajo, y gracias Victoria, Jordi y el resto del equipo de Escorpion por haber confiando en mi! Les estaré eternamente agradecida y siempre recordaré esta 080 con mucho cariño!!

After the fashion show I had to give a big hug and congrats the artists of this amazing collection!! Thanks a lot Sybille for being always so loving and passionate with your work, and thanks Victoria, Jordi and the rest of  Escorpion team for trusting me!! I will be always grateful and will remember this 080 with so much love!!
