Event of the Week: Seda Imperial by Carrera y Carrera

Feliz viernes!! Cómo se portó Papa Noel?? Espero que muy bien! Yo sin duda no me puedo quejar! Como estamos en semana de festejos hoy les traigo un post de lo más glamuroso. La semana pasada fui invitada al coctel navideño de la firma de alta joyería Carrera y Carrera con motivo de la presentación de su última colección Seda Imperial, una fusión de Oriente y Occidente donde los motivos más característicos del mantón de Manilla se convierten en joyas a través de los maestros orfebres de la firma. El lugar escogido para esta presentación fue el impresionante pero a la vez cálido espacio de Azultierra del exitoso diseñador Toni Espuch en donde jirafas gigantes, sofás de terciopelo o figuras estilo egipcio tamaño real hacían sentirte en un lugar único y digno de ser fotografiado. Además, habían espacios dedicados a comida gourmet en donde se podía degustar caviar, delicatessens hechos de trufa, jamón excepcional, entre muchas otras exquisiteces. Y que decir de la mesa de chocolates Lindt, simplemente un espectáculo. Obviamente a este evento no faltaron personalidades como Gisela Lledó, Mireia Canalda, Felipe López o Alejandra Prats, además de destacadas figuras del ámbito económico, empresarial e institucional. El punto tierno fue dado por el Presidente Honorario de la firma, Don Manuel Carrera quien le dedicó unas preciosas palabras a su esposa y agradeció a los asistentes su cálida acogida. Sin duda una noche mágica en donde disfruté cada segundo, por eso quiero dar las gracias Eloy Valero por haberme hecho parte de esta noche inolvidable. Happy Friday!! Does Santa Claus brought you many presents? Hope he did! At least I can’t complain! Since we are still celebrating today I bring you a super glamorous post. Last week I was invited to the Christmas cocktail of luxury jewelry brand Carrera y Carrera. The occasion of this amazing cocktail was the presentation of their new collection “Seda Imperial” (Imperial Silk), a fusion between East and West where the characteristic motifs of the Manila shawl were transformed into jewelry thanks to the goldsmith masters of this luxury firm. The location chosen for this event was the magnificent space of the designer Toni Espuch, Azultierra. Giant giraffes, velvet sofas or tall Egyptian figures, as well as many other incredible decorations make you feel in a unique place where every corner was the perfect place to make a photography. Also around the place gourmet shops with caviar, truffle delicatessens, Iberian ham or many other exquisite products made our palate really happy. And what can I say about the Lindt chocolate table, simply amazing! Obviously an event like this was full of personalities from the economic, business and institutional fields as well as some familiar faces like Gisela Lledó, Mireia Canalda, Felipe López or Alejandra Prats. The tender moment was given by the Honorary President of the firm, Mr. Manuel Carrera who dedicated some sweet words to his wife as well as his appreciation for the warm welcome that the attendance gave to them. It was a magic night where I enjoyed every second of it that is why I want to thank Eloy Valero for making me part of this unforgettable night.
